This year's exhibition attracts more than 22,000 seafood experts from all over the world, with 1,300 exhibitors from 50 countries around the world.
In 2025, 22 units will participate in the exhibition at the Vietnam national pavilion, including 09 Pangasius processing and exporting enterprises, 03 Shrimp processing and exporting enterprises, 02 Tuna processing and exporting enterprises, 08 enterprises processing and exporting various types of seafood products. The leading exporters to the US market are all present at the exhibition, besides there are companies participating in the exhibition for the first time, showing that the US market always has a special attraction for businesses.
The North American Seafood Exhibition is a very important opportunity for businesses to grasp and update the situation in order to maintain and develop the US market. This is a traditional exhibition where Vietnamese seafood has always maintained its presence since the early days of developing the export market. Although there are times when the US market declines, maintaining the Vietnamese national pavilion at the North American Seafood Expo is always a priority for the Association because this is a price-oriented market, Vietnam needs to participate in the fair to affirm its position as one of the world's leading seafood suppliers.
The Association has used the slogan "Vietnam - Sustainable Destination for Seafood" to affirm the development of the industry towards a sustainable seafood processing and export industry that complies with the requirements of Vietnam and the import market in a period when countries are moving towards a green economy and sustainable fishing.
Looking at the Vietnamese products on display, it is clear that the value-added product group is Vietnam's advantage compared to other countries in the Asian region. The fierce competition on prices of traditional products has promoted the transition to value-added product production in Vietnam much faster in recent years. If any enterprise changes direction early, it will reap many opportunities in recent difficult years.
